NASA made a groundbreaking announcement on Tuesday claiming that there are fair chances that Saturn’s moon Enceladus has life in it. There’s no need to be too hopeful but it has been proved that there’s a global ocean in Saturn’s moon and it’s likely that it’s fit for natural habitat. The findings were a part of NASA’s efforts to sample the Enceladus’ geyser like plumes.

NASA will make a final statement after their research is complete at the end of the month. Researchers are have been heartened by NASA’s findings and they cannot wait to work on the information that will be presented by NASA. The global ocean that NASA speaks of is hidden beneath the moon’s icy crust. The global ocean is not exactly an ‘ocean’ however, it is approximately the size of Lake Vostok and the term ‘ocean’ is used for academic reasons. Under the right conditions it’s likely that Saturn’s moon will be home to life.
